Behind the Scenes: Leadership in a Natural Disaster, North Dakota Museum of Art, 2002, 192 pages, paperback. It is edited by Eliot Glassheim. The inside story of fighting the flood, as told by federal, state and local officials who were behind the scenes as decisions were being made. The book is based upon the North Dakota Museum of Art's Oral History Project that was implemented immediately after the 1997 flood.
