Edited and written by Founding Director Laurel Reuter, the book tells the story of the founding of the North Dakota Museum of Art. The book includes a timeline and information about key projects and exhibitions such as Light and Shadow: Japanese Artists in Space (1993-94), Snow Country Prison: Interned in North Dakota (2004), The Disappeared (2005), Artists and War (2008), the Museum’s Donor Wall (an artists installation begun in 1993), and the Museum’s Mobile Gallery Program (1976).
