The Museum Concert Series presents five Sunday afternoons of classical music during the winter. The Museum Concert Series is funded in part by a grant from the Myra Foundation, with additional support by the Performing Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions from General Mills Foundation, Land O’Lakes Foundation, and the North Dakota Council on the Arts.

The Museum Concert Series was founded in 1990, shortly after the Museum opened in its new building and the staff discovered that the galleries had splendid acoustics for chamber music. At that time the Museum was the only place in the whole region where one could hear classical music by national and international artists. Shortly after, Mayville State University joined with the Museum to sponsor the concerts in both cities and the Myra Foundation began to underwrite the series. In addition, committed classical music lovers, contribute an additional $50 on top of their season ticket as sponsors who share in the cost of bringing great music to the community.

Tickets for the Concert Series are available by subscription to the series, and will be available for single concerts at the door or in advance at the North Dakota Museum of Art located on Centennial Drive. Non-member tickets are: $70 for the season, $15 per concert at the door. Member's tickets: $60 for the Season, $13 per concert at the door.
