From the Negative: Conceptual Photography from Cuba, curated by leading Cuban art historian, Christina Vives, included the following artists who live in Cuba: Pedro Abascal, Juan Carlos Alom, Raúl Cordero, José Manuel Fors, Carlos Garaicoa, Lázaro Saavedra González, Alain Pino Hernández, Ernesto Leal, Cirenaica Moreira, René Peña, Manuel Piña, and Liset Castillo Valdés. The exhibition consisted of films, video installations, photographic and drawing installations, as well as conceptual photographs.
