Language: Abstract and Concrete
The North Dakota Museum of Art is filling the galleries with works from the Permanent Collection. The exhibition will be divided into two themes. Visitors will find work based abstraction in one gallery and language-based artwork in the other.
Artists in the exhibition include: Xu Bing, Gonzalo Rojas and Guillermo Nunez, Steve Sorman and Patricia Hampf, Francis Wilson, Ewa Tarsia, Paul Fundingsland, Adam Kemp, Kellyann Burns, Marjorie Schlossman, Will Maclean, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Barton Benes, Doug Kinsey,Vance Gellert, Daniel Heyman, John Cage, William T. Wiley, Kiki Smith, Geoffrey Wharton, T.L. Solien, Steve Heitzeg, Clair Van Vliet, Lene MacGrath Welker, and Janet Markarian.
This exhibition is supported by the Minnesota State Arts Board, the North Dakota Council on the Arts, and by a grant from the City of Grand Forks through the North Valley Arts Council.
