Foreign Exchange: American Encounters in China, is a book of poems by North Dakota State Representative Eliot Glassheim with collages by his wife, artist Dyan Rey and, preface by North Dakota Museum of Art Director Laurel Reuter. Dyan Rey and Eliot Glassheim made their first trip to China in the spring of 2009. The book, Foreign Exchange, captures their experience in poems and images.

First edition is limited to 500 copies: 300 Perfect Bound, 200 Chinese Stitch Binding. Edited, designed and published by the North Dakota Museum of Art.
