The North Dakota Museum of Art, ArtWise, the Grand Forks Public Library, and St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store have teamed up to offer our community this new arts program during these winter months during social distancing and remote learning. 
Each month's project will feature a different artist and theme. The art pack will include all of your material and information about the project including links to the artists.

Animal Island

Artist: Pirjo Berg

Pirjo is known for her abstract paintings made with oil, watercolor, and clay. She was born and raised in Finland but nowadays she lives here. While she is not painting at her studio, she is working at ArtWise or painting with clay at Muddy Waters Clay Center or playing with her two Siamese cats.

Artist: Sheila Dalgliesh

Painter and art educator, Sheila Dalgliesh, is known for her work in the Artist in the Classroom program, hundreds of camps, workshops and classes, and her love of the North Dakota landscape. She can be found painting outside, in all seasons, no matter the weather, she especially loves the winter. She is excited to share her sketchbook with your family and hopes it inspires you to document your thoughts and ideas. Be creative!
